Sources

LaneMath separates official public references from editorial explanations and example-only math.

Official sources are used for public records and government context. Editorial methodology entries are used when a page explains a carrier workflow, such as comparing total miles, asking for accessorial approval, or keeping a billing packet. A methodology entry is not a substitute for law, contract review, market data, or a broker-specific policy.

LaneMath does not use paid load board data, private marketplace rates, or broker-specific pricing feeds. When a page includes example math, the numbers are hypothetical and should be replaced with the carrier's own operating costs and written load terms.
